Function As a Chief Accountant you will be responsible for: -the legal entity accounting and compliance with all Russian Tax, VAT and other statutory requirements -Production of monthly, quarterly and annual USGAAP results and related SEC reporting requirements. -Supporting and coordinating other functional activities required to support Business activity and growth in Russia (overseeing Procurement and Customs Clearance, Human Resources, IT, Treasury, Company Secretarial and Office Administration activities working in conjunction with other Functional Managers and employees both locally and across the AP European organisation) -Local contact for companys functions including Law, Insurance, Treasury, Tax and Internal Audit providing support as required and ensuring local adherence to Global processes, policies and procedures. -Managing the local Finance and Admin team including allocation of work, day to day supervision, development and performance appraisal -Supporting and advicing on the local Financial implications and requirements of Business Development activities in the region including business combinations, acquisitions and legal entity restructuring |
